Privacy Policy — Sangha

Last updated: February 26, 2026

Sangha is a Buddhist companion app created by Pankaj Ukey. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.

What We Collect

1. Language Preference

Sangha stores your selected language (English, Hindi, or Marathi) locally on your device using your phone’s built-in storage. This data never leaves your device.

2. AI Companion Messages

When you use the AI Companion feature, the messages you type are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate responses. These messages are processed by Anthropic in accordance with Anthropic’s Privacy Policy. We do not store your conversation history — it exists only in the app’s memory for the duration of your session and is cleared when you close the app.
